Who are these for?
Children learning a game for the first time, and the adults teaching them. Piece cards suit ages 4 to 7 and are meant for a child's room. The wall chart suits 7 to 12 and works in a classroom or club.
What exactly is on each poster?
A piece poster shows one piece in the middle of a cropped board, dots on every point it can reach, and its name in the game's own script. Grey discs stand for a piece that blocks or gets jumped, dashed dots for the moves that blocker cuts off, and rings for squares a pawn can only capture on. A wall chart puts all of a game's pieces, shapes or openings on one sheet. A Collection print is a single position from the record with a one-line caption.
Why are the words not in English?
Because a child learning janggi will hear 마 at the table, and a child learning go will hear アタリ. The English name is in each poster's title, and the product page says what the word means. On each go poster’s product page you can switch between Japanese, Korean, simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese scripts.
How are they made?
I generate the diagrams from the rules of each game and from the recorded moves, and check the famous positions against published records. Each print is made when you order it, on 189 g/m² enhanced matte paper with archival inks, by a print partner in the US.
Do they come framed?
No. Every print ships unframed, rolled in a tube. The sizes are all standard frame sizes (12 by 16 and 18 by 24 inches for the posters and the Collection, 18 by 12 and 36 by 24 for the Atlas), so a frame from IKEA, Target or a framer fits without trimming.
How long does shipping take?
Printing takes 2–5 business days, then US shipping is typically 3–5 more. Flat $5.95, free over $60. Tracking arrives by email.
What if it arrives damaged?
Email a photo within 30 days and a new print goes out. There is nothing to send back.
Can I return it?
Each print is made to order, so we do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind. If a print arrives damaged, defective or misprinted, email a photo within 30 days of delivery and we replace it or refund it, your choice.
Do you ship outside the US?
US shipping only for now. Email to ask for another destination.
Are the room photos real?
No. The room scenes are AI-generated mockups, until the first prints are photographed. The poster images are the exact files that get printed.
